Manufactured in China and exported to the US, as indicated by a sticker on the back of each painting, I purchased each of these works at several A. C. Moore stores in New England in 2009. Each picture, which depicts a bouquet of the same yellow daffodils over a hazy greenish brown background, is hand-painted by an anonymous artist. The subtle variations in color-mixtures, textures, and paint application, each point to individual interpretations of the same source image.
